The Shiny Home UPS provides 100% pure AC power equivalent to grid power. The Sine Wave back-up power supply ensures that your household appliances are protected from damage and extends their life, too.

Extra Protection Its superior HCLC (High Cut/Low Cut) Technology provides complete and constant protection to your appliances in case of any irregularities and disturbances in the grid supply, like short circuits, high voltage, low voltage and overload. Expensive and sensitive equipment like TVs, home theatres, satellite dishes, computers, printers, copiers and fax machines are spared from damage. This increase the longevity of your appliances.   Extra Energy-efficient Shiny is equipped with the SMPS based charger with the high power factor which minimizes the amount of AC power required to charge the batteries, thereby reducing power consumption. The SMPS charger provides pure DC supply to the batteries and hence enhances battery life with better control and response. The SMPS based charger is 25% more efficient as compared to SCR chargers and is smaller in size, generating less heat.   Extra Back-up The Shiny has a slider switch that allows you to choose between UPS mode and Wide UPS mode. In the UPS mode, the input voltage window is 185 to 260 V. This is ideal for powering computers and other sensitive appliances, offering longer back-up as compared to conventional UPS systems. In the Wide UPS mode, the input voltage window is 105 to 275 V, suitable for running normal loads and non-sensitive appliances. So with Shiny, you can run both your sensitive and non-sensitive appliances and get extended back-up as well.

Fuzzy Logic Control Technology

Su-Kam's advanced Fuzzy Logic Control charging technology senses the requirement of the battery and controls the charging process accordingly. This technology ensures :

Huge Savings on Electricity Su-Kam's FLC Technology senses the battery voltage and switches it off if there is no change in the battery voltage with respect to time. In normal inverters the charger is constantly turned on. Shiny keeps your electricity bills low.

Longer Battery Life Su-Kam's FLC Technology senses the exact need of the battery every time. If an older battery is unable to accept the level of voltage defined earlier, it automatically sets a new level in accordance with the battery condition and charging need. This results in enhanced battery life.

Reduced Water Topping Su-Kam's FLC technology controls the emission of gassing while charging the battery, thus reducing the frequency of water topping significantly.

Automatic Over-Load Sensing The system provides notification through alarms and LED lights on the front panel. Incase of overload, Su-Kam's System Overload Alarm resets the Home UPS automatically. The system will retry 8 times to run the existing load. Moreover, the repeated beep alarm gives the user adequate time to reduce the load without having to shut down the system and the user does not have to go to the UPS to reset the button for overload. In case the load is still not reduced, the system will shut down automatically.

Silent Operation

Shiny automatically senses the power failure and switches to battery mode silently, without letting you even notice that the power supply has failed.

Compatibility with Batteries

The two-way slider selection switch gives you the option to select any battery type and charging. This improves the back-up quality and enhances battery life. The options are:

SMF/Tubular: The batteries will be charged at 14.4 V.
Lead Acid : The batteries will be charged at 13.9 V.
 

Peak Power Output (Cold Start)

Su-Kam's Home UPS has the highest cold start capability which means if 12 tubelights are connected to Shiny (650VA) and it is switched on, all the tubelights will be on at the same time.
 

Can Easily Handle High Inflow of Current (Surge)

Shiny can handle high inflow of current of up to 300% of its actual capacity. For example Su-Kam's Shiny range can easily take on the load of your washing machine and water pump.

You can choose a modular trolley which meets the aesthetics requirement of your home and office as well as provides ease of operation with its castor wheels, so you can move the HUPS around your home, if needed. Keeps your flooring spotless from any kind of acid spillage from your battery.
